Resident Notices
Notice A - Booking rooms. Harbourview Residents offers residents or members use of the small meeting room. Bookings must be made through the online calendar before 6 p.m. on the day before use. The room may be used for private meetings, but amplified music is allowed only in the largest shared space and must finish by 9 p.m. A refundable deposit is required for weekend events.
Notice B - Deliveries and storage. Collections are available between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Staff will not accept fresh food deliveries or items over 20 kilograms. Bicycles, scooters and sports equipment must not be left in corridors. A limited number of storage lockers are available, but users must renew their agreement every six months.
Notice C - Maintenance visits. Routine checks take place on the first Tuesday of each month. Users do not need to be present if the visit concerns smoke alarms or radiator checks. If a repair involves access to a private bedroom, staff will offer two possible time slots. Emergency repairs may be carried out without the usual notice period.
Notice D - Waste and recycling. Glass, paper and mixed containers should be placed in the labelled bins behind the north gate. Large items such as chairs and mattresses are collected on the last Friday of each month, but users must register them at least three days in advance. Paint, batteries and electronic devices should be taken to the civic recycling point.
Notice E - Quiet hours and guests. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and from midnight to 8 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Overnight guests may stay for a maximum of seven nights in any calendar month. Residents are responsible for guests in shared areas, including the garden, laundry room and roof terrace.
