This policy explains the main categories of information processed when you use IELTSimulator and the services that help us operate it.
Information we process
We process account information supplied through Clerk, practice answers and results needed to provide the service, subscription status supplied by Stripe, support messages you send, and technical data needed for security and reliability.
Payments
Stripe processes payment-card information. IELTSimulator receives identifiers, payment status, amount, currency and subscription information needed to provide access and support. We do not store full card numbers.
Practice and AI feedback
Reading, Listening and Writing submissions may be stored in Supabase to provide results and progress. Writing text may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate educational feedback. Do not include sensitive personal information in practice answers.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures page visits and product events such as CTA clicks, login starts, onboarding progress, checkout starts, purchases and performance metrics. Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before optional Google tags load. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment-card details or test-answer text to Google Analytics.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, caching and infrastructure analytics. It may process network and request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, status code and security signals.
Your analytics choice
In the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, optional Analytics and advertising storage remains disabled until you accept it in the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser. Use the Analytics preferences control in the footer to withdraw consent or make a new choice at any time.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform. We use access controls and service-specific security features, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
You may contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information associated with your account. Some information may need to be retained where required for payment, fraud-prevention, security or legal obligations.
